marjan Posted January 27, 2018 Share Posted January 27, 2018 how to make this hardware to work with my golf 5, carport does not recognise this cable unfortuntelly, i own carport obd 2 basic module and can basic module also. where could be the problem? when i tried the first time it worked, but on the middle of autoscan process stopped and a pop up windows showed indicating that obd hardware searching.... now carport does not recognise this cable AT ALL. drive me crazy please any help? could be faulty interface from the seller? or what? Hidrive Posted January 28, 2018 Share Posted January 28, 2018 Does Windows reconise the Interface without the Software? Have you tried playing with the Windows Port Settings? Try changing the Carport Software settings from Automatic to Manual.
